This position is 40 hours/week day shift with two evening shifts required per week (until 7:30pm).

Gloucester, MA (population (30,730) is known as America's oldest seaport founded in 1642.  Located on Cape Ann, conveniently 30 miles northeast of Boston,  the draw for those that visit and live here are the sprawling beaches and waterfront, fishing,  forests, parks and canal side walking routes.   Addison Gilbert Hospital is a 79-bed medical acute care facility that provides inpatient and outpatient care to residents of the Cape Ann Community.

Looking for a Full Time Physical Therapist. We are a large outpatient hospital based clinic offering PT for general orthopedics, spine, pelvic health, neurological and vestibular disorders, pediatrics, sports medicine and more! 

Mentoring available in clinical specialty areas.

The rehabilitation team has a Mentoring Program, a Best Practice Forum to promote evidenced based practice, Department support in education with internal and external course offerings as well as educational reimbursement! Medbridge membership offered.

Position Summary: 

The Physical Therapist evaluates patient’s mobility and motor assets and liabilities for functional performance.  The Physical Therapist provides goal directed, activity-oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in functional mobility and daily life tasks.  As a member of the health care team, the physical therapist works closely with other rehabilitation disciplines, nursing, physicians, and case managers to provide patient centered care.  Patient/family and community education are essential components of this position. 

 

Education/Experience 

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.  

Certification/License:  Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy license.  Current BCLS certification
