This is your opportunity to make a real impact—own the site’s quality systems, drive regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence across production, warehousing, and the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSQMS), including SOPs, training, change control, and documentation.
  • Lead GMP, HACCP, Food Defense, and Food Fraud training programs.
  • Manage sanitation validation, internal inspections, and environmental monitoring.
  • Own the recall program and ensure full traceability across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with contractors (pest control, sanitation, uniforms) to maintain high standards.
  • Review and approve production batch records and manage nonconformities and CAPAs.
  • Investigate quality issues and customer complaints with a root-cause mindset.
  • Oversee QA processes for warehouse operations including receiving, sampling, and storage.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance within food, dietary supplements, or ingredient manufacturing.
  • PCQI certification and hands-on experience with FDA regulations (21 CFR 111 & 117).
  • Strong knowledge of FSVP and supplier quality management.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
