Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment within a food manufacturing facility. This includes working on ovens, conveyors, mixers, and other production equipment. The role involves managing supplies and inventory, as well as coordinating with vendors for parts and equipment. Proficiency in electrical and pneumatic systems is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on ovens, conveyors, mixers, and other production equipment.
- Maintain supplies and inventory, and coordinate with vendors for additional parts and equipment.
- Apply electrical systems knowledge to maintenance tasks.
- Utilize experience with pneumatic systems in maintenance procedures.
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance techniques.
- Skilled in PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Experience with diesel and heavy equipment is advantageous.
This position operates within a food manufacturing facility. Working hours are from 4am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday, and 4pm to 2:30am Monday through Thursday. The role requires hands-on work with various equipment and systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newburyport, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
