Job Title: Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to perform a variety of duties related to environmental chamber testing for products across commercial, military, medical, and consumer sectors. This role involves managing daily operations, including lab projections, scheduling, quoting, training, and overseeing customer witnessing and audits. You will conduct environmental chamber testing within the limitations of standard methods and procedures, focusing on tests such as fungus, shock, and vibration testing.

• Manage daily lab operations including scheduling, quoting, and training.
• Conduct environmental chamber testing for a range of products and devices.
• Perform fungus, shock, and vibration testing following standard methods.
• Oversee customer witnessing and audits.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and test plans for customers.

• Experience in environmental or shock/vibration testing.
• Proficiency in using test equipment such as environmental chambers and understanding of MIL-STD-810.
• Experience in HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening).
• Strong project organizational skills.

• Proficiency in preventive maintenance and vibration analysis.
• Experience with altitude and humidity testing.
• Strong technical documentation skills.

The work environment involves the use of advanced testing equipment including environmental and altitude chambers. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and standard testing methods. Dress code is business casual, and you will work in a collaborative laboratory setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Billerica, Massachusetts.
