Job Description
The Supply Chain Capacity Analyst supports a robotics-focused supply chain organization by analyzing demand and supply, driving process improvements, and helping ensure on-time delivery across a portfolio of products. This role combines strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel and SQL modeling, and supply chain knowledge to design solutions, streamline processes, and maintain accurate documentation for internal training and reference. It offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge industry and build experience with an industry-leading organization, with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Problem-solve and design solutions for the supply chain network, supporting capacity planning and operational decision-making.
- Perform basic demand and supply analysis for components, ensuring that supply plans align with current and forecasted needs.
- Go through daily requirements to identify needed items, assess gaps, and determine how to address them through planning, procurement, or escalation.
- Create, maintain, and update internal documentation for training and reference, ensuring that processes and configurations are clearly described and current.
- Develop, manage, and refine advanced analytical models and reports using Microsoft Excel and SQL to support supply chain planning and performance tracking.
- Support the management of a product portfolio with a focus on achieving on-time delivery at the portfolio level.
- Apply a conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management to ensure data integrity and accurate reflection of supply chain processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in areas such as supply chain management, procurement, purchasing, and planning to resolve issues and implement improvements.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) materials planning and readiness activities as needed.
- Demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
- Operate with a bias for action by proactively identifying risks, issues, and opportunities in the supply chain and taking steps to address them.
- Invent and simplify by proposing new tools, methods, or process changes that make supply chain operations more effective and efficient.
- Deliver results by consistently meeting key performance indicators, especially on-time delivery for the products managed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, Operations, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical abilities with demonstrated experience creating and managing advanced models using Microsoft Excel.
- High proficiency with SQL for data analysis and model development.
- Analyst work background or a strong analytical focus in higher education.
- Conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management.
- Ability to perform demand and supply analysis for components and materials.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results against defined KPIs, particularly on-time delivery at the portfolio level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in supply chain, particularly in a robotics or advanced manufacturing environment, is strongly preferred.
- Experience with supply chain management, procurement, purchasing, and planning activities.
- Familiarity with NPI (New Product Introduction) materials planning and coordination.
- Experience working with ERP systems to support planning, purchasing, and materials management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis.
- Ability to apply leadership principles such as Bias for Action, Deliver Results, Invent and Simplify, and Ownership in daily work.
- Interest in working in a cutting-edge industry and building a long-term career in supply chain and operations.
This role operates within a robotics-focused supply chain business group, supporting products and components in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is structured as a temporary role with the possibility of extension and potential conversion to a full-time position based on performance and business needs. Work involves extensive use of Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other standard office and ERP tools to analyze data, manage models, and document processes. The environment emphasizes continuous improvement, ownership, and results, with a focus on meeting on-time delivery targets and supporting new and existing products across the portfolio.

This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
