Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and skilled Cable Assembler to join our dynamic team. The role involves performing cable cutting responsibilities and working collaboratively with the assembly and stock room teams. Your contributions will ensure accurate material handling and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform cable cutting tasks according to specified lengths for various jobs.
- Collaborate with the assembly and stock room teams to pull necessary materials.
- Note material transactions within the ERP system to track work progress and material needs.
- Use a table saw confidently for cutting tasks.
- Conduct cycle counts on materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in cable assembly and handling material-handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Competence in using a table saw.
- Basic computer knowledge for ERP system operations.
- Experience in production and forklift operation.
- Experience with hand tools and saw operation.
- Cycle count and inventory management experience.

Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7 am to 3:30 pm. You will be part of a small, close-knit team of 3-4 people, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Peabody, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
