Job Description

We are currently looking for a skilled pallet builder to join our growing company. We are ideally looking for candidates with 2+ years of carpentry experience that can build skids and pallets out of 2x4s with no blueprints. If you also have shipping and receiving experience that is a plus but if not we will train you on that end. This role is a 6 month contract to hire and will start at a pay rate of $20 - $24 an hour in Randolph, MA.

Responsibilities

• Build heavy-duty skids and crates to ship out packaging machinery weighing 5000+ lbs and measuring 30+ ft long.
• Receive all outside purchase/fabricated parts.
• Label and coordinate with the project management team all inbound cartons/products for machine testing.
• Debur, buff, and tumble fabricated parts going to outside finish.

Essential Skills

• Strong carpentry skills.
• Experience with assembly and using hand tools.
• Ability to handle general labor tasks.
• Proficiency in material handling and using a tape measure.
• Mechanically inclined with experience in palletizing and power tool usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in building skids and crates.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist with various tasks across the company.

Work Environment

This is a Permanent position based out of Randolph, MA.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.
