Job Title: Program Manager - Aerospace Industry

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Program Manager to oversee and manage detailed program plans in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will ensure schedules, budgets, and resources are effectively managed, while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.



Responsibilities

  • Manage detailed program plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Monitor progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant milestone achievement.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to meet technical requirements and act as the customer point of contact.
  • Manage scope, define deliverables, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate a cross-functional team of engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain personnel.
  • Identify and manage program risks, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Implement corrective actions to keep the program on track.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of program activities and financial tracking.
  • Prepare updates for leadership and stakeholders.


Essential Skills

  • Program management experience in technical and aerospace sectors.
  • Costing and scheduling expertise.
  • Engineering/Technical program management background.
  • Experience in composite or aerospace/defense industry.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and MIL-STD standards.


Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of program management, project management, or engineering management, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Experience managing programs for both defense and commercial aerospace sectors preferred.
  • Understanding of composite manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Experience with risk management and the ability to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, or equivalent.


Work Environment

The position is onsite 5 days a week at the Hudson facility with occasional visits to the Stow facility, located 7 minutes away. The environment is dynamic, with a small team of 3, providing ample interaction and an opportunity to see the product from start to finish. It is a military and veteran-friendly environment with well-received leadership and a focus on personal development.


Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Stow, Massachusetts.

Compensation:$140000
