1st Shift Receiving

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Receiving Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role involves unloading products from trailers, verifying received merchandise, and safely transporting items to their storage locations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our inventory is accurately maintained and organized.

• Physically unload products from trailers into the warehouse using hands or appropriate machinery.
• Verify the quantity and description of products received by checking merchandise against receiving labels.
• Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and appropriately report any damages through the appropriate channels.
• Attach identifying labels to products.
• Safely load products onto a stock picker and transport them to the storing location in the warehouse.
• Accurately place products in assigned warehouse storing locations.
• Scan product labels and rack location labels using Radio Frequency inventory control equipment.
• Distribute supplies and non-warehouse products to the appropriate department or personnel.

• At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or laborer role.
• Experience operating a forklift.

• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 100lbs.
• Capability to work at heights of approximately 35 feet for top-level placement of products.

Work within a dynamic warehouse environment where continuous physical activity, such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting, is required throughout the shift. Employees must be comfortable with heights and able to lift/move objects up to 110 pounds unassisted. The warehouse maintains a casual dress code, requiring boots on the floor. The team is diverse, with 60% of staff being bilingual.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swansea, MA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Swansea,MA.
