Job Title: Senior RF Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to design and develop advanced RF components, subsystems, and systems. The role involves creating adaptive RF filters, circulators, and isolators, as well as high-power pulsed microwave and directed energy technologies. The successful candidate will optimize product designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency, apply material-enabled analog signal processing to enhance receiver performance, sensitivity, and dynamic range, and participate in system-level design throughout all phases of development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Optimize product designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
  • Apply material-enabled analog signal processing.
  • Participate in system-level design throughout development phases.
  • Create and analyze electromagnetic simulation models.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand system-level requirements.
  • Support sales and business development activities.
  • Evaluate high-priority opportunities and assist with deliverables such as prototypes, bids, and presentations.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in RF circuit/component design.
  • Experience with systems engineering.
  • Prototyping and assembly of hardware.
  • Linear and non-linear RF/microwave modeling and testing.
  • Researching ferromagnetic phenomena in materials.
  • Proficiency in HFSS simulation software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF engineering.
  • Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering is advantageous.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Demonstrated success in RF product design and development.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new technology opportunities.
  • Proactive, problem-solving, and outcome-oriented mindset.
