About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated AV Design Specialist with at least 1 year of hands-on experience designing AV systems for commercial spaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about AV technology and eager to grow their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings a coachable mindset, a strong work ethic, and a desire to build a long-term career in AV system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration: Participate in early-stage discussions to understand client needs and project goals.
• AV System Design: Assist in developing AV solutions for a variety of commercial spaces using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, and Q-SYS.
• Documentation Support: Help create system layouts and equipment lists (AutoCAD/Revit experience is welcome but not required).
• Team Engagement: Work with architects, consultants, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and alignment.
• Learning & Development: Embrace training opportunities, mentorship, and continuous learning to grow within the AV design field.
• Project Support: Contribute to smooth transitions from design to implementation and support quality assurance efforts.

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ years of experience designing AV systems for commercial spaces.
• Familiarity with AV platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Q-SYS, etc.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
• Ability to interpret AV schematics and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).
• A coachable mentality and a strong desire to learn and grow in the AV design space.
• CTS certification is a plus (CTS-D or CTS-I preferred but not required).
