The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a highly qualified and trained Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to provide expert guidance and direction underpinning Leidos on-site support to research and development activities on Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.

Your Main Mission:
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals on the Leidos on-site support team. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will provide cyber support to a variety of engineering projects, involving research & development, prototyping, integration, test and evaluation, cross domain solutions, and software development within a laboratory environment.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

Your Main Mission:
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals on the Leidos on-site support team. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will provide cyber support to a variety of engineering projects, involving research & development, prototyping, integration, test and evaluation, cross domain solutions, and software development within a laboratory environment.
- Leads a team of other cybersecurity professionals
- Oversees lab environment including network/system administration and RMF ATO
- Reviews and approves all cybersecurity program deliverables
- Communicates program cybersecurity to program leadership
- Interacts with other engineering and program leads to deliver cross functional projects
- Must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Top Secret clearance eligible for access to SCI
- Professionally recognized cybersecurity certification in a DoD Directive 8140
- Must have experience supporting NSA approved cross domain solutions Lab Based Assessment Security Assessment (LBSA) team.
- Must have 5 years of experience with cross domain solutions (CDS) to include: supporting CDS research and development teams building new technology; supporting DoD programs with CDS needs; authoring CDS documentation; performing hands-on assessments of security controls; and must have a strong understanding of Linux.
- Completed training compliant with CDS Raise the Bar (RTB) and documented experience supporting RTB projects.
- Documented experience supporting CDS R&D projects that were RTB compliant.
- Documented experience supporting a team with working knowledge of the NSA certification and authorization process for cryptographic systems in addition to CDS.
- Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience supporting Army and NSA customers
- Experience developing policies and procedures for new program startup
- Must possess a Top Secret clearance eligible for access to SCI by contract start
