Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Technician

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Pay: $101,000 annually / $48.65 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled I&E Technician with strong experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting to join our team. This role is critical to maintaining and improving the reliability of our automated systems within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC systems and related control equipment.
• Perform PLC programming, modifications, and updates as needed.
• Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve complex automation issues.
• Document all work performed, including programming changes and troubleshooting steps.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• 4 years of progressive experience as a technician in central plant, power generation, or process plants.
• Ability to write logic using industry-standard languages.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC programming issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and system updates.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.65 - $48.65/hr.
