Pay Range:
Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.

- RHEL Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x/8.x Platform Administration, installation, configuration, server patching, upgrading, provisioning, performance tuning, and problem resolution.
- RHEL Ansible Playbook Development
- Experienced in problem analysis and troubleshooting.
- AWS Cloud hands-on experience

- Support the database team with Linux expertise in performance issues, problem diagnosis, patching, upgrading, provisioning, and process improvement
- Provide guidance/support to other junior/mid-level resources
- Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace
- All other duties as assigned or directed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field and 12 years of experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 7 years of experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x Platform Administration (administration, installation, configuration, optimization, backup & recovery)
- 7 years of experience with performance tuning & troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving memory, CPU, access, networking, disk I/O, etc.
- 5 years of experience working Virtual Platforms
- At least 3 years of experience developing with Ansible Playbooks (creating, developing, updating, and executing)
- 3 years of experience with scripting languages for automation tasks and deployments (e.g., Bash Shell and Python)
- Expertise in the Linux command-line environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.

These skills will help you succeed in this position:
- Solid experience as a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administrator
- Excellent knowledge and experience with RHEL applications and tools - Ansible, Satellite, RHEVM, etc.
- Experience in providing support for installation, configuration and troubleshooting of middleware applications.
Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Adept at working independently, but also in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience delivering technology solutions in a fast-paced, deadline driven enterprise environment
- Excellent understanding of change management, testing requirements, techniques, and tools to ensure high availability of systems
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Red Hat Ansible Playbooks
- Prior Federal government experience
- Self-starter, highly motivated individual who adapts to a dynamic work environment
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
