As a Masonry Worker, you will be responsible for applying selected tile to customer specifications, pouring and finishing concrete for ovens, and laying bricks for oven construction. Your role will also involve repairing oven exteriors if necessary, estimating materials and costs, laying out work, and requesting necessary materials and supplies. You will assist the supervisor with special projects as needed.
Responsibilities- Apply selected tile according to customer specifications.
- Pour and finish concrete for ovens.
- Lay bricks for oven construction.
- Repair oven exteriors as necessary.
- Estimate materials and costs.
- Lay out work and request materials and supplies.
- Assist supervisor with special projects.
- At least 2 years of experience in tile work and masonry.
- Proficiency in assembly, hand tools, and production work.
- Experience with concrete, brick laying, and stonemasonry.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while producing quality work.
- Accuracy and attention to detail in work performance.
- Willingness to assist on other small projects if needed.

Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a manufacturing facility that is not temperature-controlled, with approximately 80 people working across two shifts. The available shifts are 6 am to 2:30 pm and 9 am to 5:30 pm, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule preferences.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beltsville, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
