Job Title: Control Panel Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Control Panel Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and wiring control panels in accordance with the UL508A standard. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing feedback to Manufacturing and Engineering teams to enhance the assembly process's efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire control panels following the UL508A standard.
- Provide feedback to improve manufacturability of selected components and hardware.
- Perform manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies of moderate to difficult complexity.
- Work under limited supervision using drawings, schematics, visual aids, verbal, and written instructions.
- Troubleshoot and conduct final testing on electrical control equipment including PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and relays.
- Adapt to the changing needs of the company over time.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and electro-mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with panels and wiring.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the electronic manufacturing space.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office to create spreadsheets, inspection documents, and reports.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools for building and assembling control panels.
- Effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Ability to track and manage shipments and report them to the supervisor.
- Capability to track inventory of components and notify the manager when re-orders are needed.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
