Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and improvement of precision mechanical systems used in advanced manufacturing and technology-driven applications. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring concepts from design through production while supporting ongoing product and process improvements. The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical design experience, a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, engineering-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through release to manufacturing Create and maintain detailed 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement design improvements or corrective actions Support continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, tooling, and equipment Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical decision-making

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Halethorpe, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
