TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Scheduler in the Hyattsville area!

MUST HAVE: 2-3 years of medical scheduling experience, or medical receptionist or medical call center experience!

Description

The Scheduler will take calls from patients looking to schedule outpatient/inpatient procedures for multiple units. Will be required to schedule and confirm patient appointments and make any changes as necessary. Must be able to manage appointment flow as necessary. Call volume is 60-150 calls per day. Candidate will enter in patient demographics, listen to and understand patients medical condition so as to schedule them with the appropriate specialist, schedule them in with the facility, and enter in insurance information and diagnostic codes of the condition.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1 + year in medical/healthcare setting. Previous customer service/call center experience Medical Terminology knowledge. Ability to handle multiple phone lines with heavy call volume.
