Quality Inspector

The QC Inspector will be responsible for tasks related to sampling, inspecting, and testing spices and seasonings. This role involves monitoring metal detectors during production, conducting label and weight checks on production lines, and verifying stage ingredients used in seasonings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling, inspection, and testing of spices and seasonings.
• Monitor metal detectors used during production.
• Perform label and weight checks on production lines.
• Verify stage ingredients to be used in seasonings.

• Experience in quality control and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in organoleptic evaluation.
• Ability to perform QC testing and quality inspection.
• Experience with metal testing and GMP.
• Strong visual inspection skills.

• QC Lab experience is a plus.
• Ability to make sound judgment calls.
• Previous experience in a lab setting or food and beverage facility is beneficial.
• Comfortable working with strong odors.

The work environment is loud with fluctuating temperatures that may be hot or cold, and there may be strong spice odors present. This company is the second largest spice company in the state, offering opportunities for growth across its six facilities nationwide.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
