Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic who will work across both 1st and 2nd shifts. The 1st shift operates from 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Sunday to Thursday, with potential for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. The 2nd shift runs from 2:15 PM to 12:45 AM on the same days, with similar overtime opportunities. Please note that shifts are assigned due to union agreements, and changes in shift structure may occur in the new year.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and excellent housekeeping standards.
- Operate, monitor, and perform minor troubleshooting of equipment to achieve optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- Troubleshoot packaging equipment and maintain mechanical operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs using hand tools and industrial maintenance techniques.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five years of maintenance or millwright experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Graduation from a Technical/Trade School or an apprenticeship program.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical repair, schematic reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge and skills equivalent to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
Work will be conducted in a plant setting with exposure to high noise levels, dust, heat, cold, and chemical fumes. The role requires physical activities such as prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and crouching. Employees will handle raw materials weighing up to 60 lbs. The position involves navigating the production floor where temperature and dust levels may vary.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $63440.00 - $71760.00/yr.
