Phlebotomist

We’re looking for an experienced Phlebotomist (2+ years) to join our team. You’ll perform blood draws, handle specimens, and ensure accurate processing while providing courteous patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and process specimens (centrifuge, split, freeze, package for transport)
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and use proper techniques with straight and butterfly needles
• Follow physicians’ orders and match requisition forms to specimen tubes
• Maintain records, update patient information, and answer lab inquiries
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations and attend annual training

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong phlebotomy expertise, including venipuncture and handling “hard sticks”
• Valid phlebotomy certification
• Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olney, MD.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
