Job Title: Order Selector
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Order Selector with a strong in operating reach trucks and order selectors. The role involves picking orders and staging them for shipping. This position requires the use of RF scanners and the operation of various industrial trucks such as forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks to handle building product materials within and outside the Distribution Center.
Responsibilities
- Pick and stage orders for shipping.
- Receive, store, pick, load, and distribute building product materials.
- Operate propane or electric-powered industrial trucks, including reach trucks and forklifts.
- Lift, stack, tier, or move products or materials.
- Load materials into trucks and secure products with straps.
- Put away building products and replenish stock.
- Empty containers of product.
- Perform typical pick/pack duties including loading, unloading, order picking, and inventory management.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience as an order selector and reach truck operator.
- Proficiency in using reach truck forklifts, sit-down and counterbalance equipment.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Experience with RF scanners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse inventory and packing.
- Ability to work in shipping and receiving environments.

Work Environment
Our facility is located in Perryman, Maryland, and features two divisions: one that ships to other distribution locations and another that ships directly to construction company customers. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the use of various industrial trucks and equipment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Perryman, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
