Job Description
We are seeking a skilled industrial mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding, fabrication, and general mechanical systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Responsibilities
- Weld pipes and use a torch as needed; fabricate conveyor belts and other mechanical components
- Work with gearboxes, bearings, and other machinery components; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Use all hand tools, battery-powered tools, and heavy equipment, including manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders
- Perform routine maintenance such as greasing, oil changes, and general cleanup
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks
- Be willing to work weekends, long hours, and respond to short notice work requirements based on production demands
- Comfortable working at elevated heights when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in a mechanical role
- Strong knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication
- Experience with conveyor belts, gearboxes, and bearings
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
- Experience operating manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Valid driver’s license

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Deposit, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
