Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Team in support of the US/UK Trident Submarine Strategic Weapon System Program. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent planning skills, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage system-level requirements modules in DOORS, including deriving requirements from parent and reference specifications.
• Allocate requirements to subsystems and perform impact and traceability assessments, suggesting corrective actions as needed.
• Engage with system architecture and verification teams to ensure requirements satisfaction and verification.
• Generate and present views of requirements to leadership and stakeholders for review and approval.
• Leverage DOORS Extension Language activities for enhanced system management.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in systems engineering.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with diverse work teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, including DOORS/DXL and SysML.
• Experience with the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Office and Strategic Weapon Systems.
• Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) INCOSE certification is preferred.
