We’re hiring a General Laborer to join our team at a busy recycling facility in Auburn, Maine. This is a great opportunity for someone with industrial or outdoor work experience who enjoys physical work, learning equipment, and being part of a tight‑knit crew.
You’ll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly by handling materials, operating equipment, and supporting customers safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate forklifts and skid-steers to move and manage materials
- Load and unload metal and recyclable materials safely
- Follow written plans and verbal work instructions accurately
- Use hand and power tools as needed
- Provide basic customer service when interacting with clients
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of industrial experience (construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or similar)
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Strong attention to safety and instructions
Additional Qualifications
- Interest in learning to operate forklifts, skid‑steers, or dozers
- Basic customer service skills
- Dependable, team‑oriented work ethic

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
