Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repeated assemblies on hand-made products before they are sent out to customers. You will be working at your station and utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other instruments as needed. This position requires standing for 8-10 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform repeated assemblies on hand-made products.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other instruments effectively.
• Stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) during shifts.
• Consistently lift weights ranging from 35-50 lbs.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Pay attention to detail to ensure high-quality assembly.
• Show willingness to learn and train on new positions.

Essential Skills

• Experience with assembly and general labor.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Mechanical and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general production and industrial settings.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing processes.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic manufacturing setting with 50-60 team members on the first shift. The environment involves working with metal parts and cast iron, requiring you to be on your feet. Safety gear, including steel-toed shoes and long pants, is necessary. The work schedule is from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Contract position based out of Gorham, ME.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
