Job Title: Fabricator ApprenticeJob Description

We are seeking a Fabricator Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you will learn the fundamentals of fabrication, including both MIG and TIG welding, setup, basic math, assembly, and other related tasks. This position is ideal for someone with a long-term interest in manufacturing, a self-starting attitude, and a keen eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Assist in the setup and assembly of fabrication tasks.
  • Apply basic math skills to ensure precise fabrication processes.
  • Collaborate on various tasks as assigned in the fabrication shop.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in fabrication and welding.
  • Knowledge of production and mechanical processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle repetitive workloads comfortably.

Work Environment

Work alongside a master fabricator in a two-person team within a clean and quiet fabrication shop. Safety is paramount, requiring safety shoes, eye protection, and welding PPE as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kennebunk, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
