Machine Operator – Cleanroom Assembly (EES Battery Storage Program)

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Schedule:

• Training: 1st shift, 5:50 AM – 2:05 PM (until March 1st)
• Regular Shifts: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) on a 3/4 rotating schedule

Be part of an exciting new program in a state-of-the-art facility! We’re hiring Machine Operators for our EES Battery Storage unit project - this is your chance to work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with cutting-edge technology.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor machines across multiple stations on the battery assembly line.
• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet strict standards.
• Assemble and sub-assemble battery packs using torque tools and automated systems.
• Pack and prepare parts for shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cell and facility.
• Cross-train on multiple stations for flexibility and growth.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and stay focused during 8–12 hour shifts.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• 6+ months of assembly or machine operation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift/move 15–20 lbs.
• Must store cell phones in lockers during shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
