Part Time Computer Operator (Weekends)

Are you a current student seeking an IT Degree? Are you maybe an entry-level IT professional looking to expand or get experience in the IT industry? Or Do you happen to have AS400 experience? We have an immediate need for our client onsite in the Battle Creek area. This is PART-TIME role who will work Saturday and Sundays from 7am - 7pm. You must also be willing to help cover other 12 hour shifts when needed. Majority of times, this individual will just work their 24 hours each week.

This Computer Operator will be responsible for:

• Monitoring the mid-range system for our client, respond to problems, and take corrective action
• Set up and maintain hardware and software, as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Maintain shift log, incident log, and consumable inventory record and prepares purchase requisitions, as required
• Answers helpdesk phone, gathering information and logging problem called in

Qualified candidates will have:

• A minimum level of Education and Training required: High School Diploma, College Degree, or Computer Training
• Previous PC, Network, or AS400 support experience is a plus
• Experience providing technical troubleshooting to various technology.
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret observable factual information from several sources
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Ability to coordinate and monitor a high level of activity, strong organizational and time management skills
