Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines, OD grinders, and related machining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and respond to urgent maintenance calls on the production floor.
• Assist with machine startups, changeovers, and process improvements.
• Perform general facility maintenance including building repairs and exterior upkeep as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work orders.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support uptime and output goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized maintenance area.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and control.
• Understanding of 3-phase electrical systems.

Shift

• 1st Shift (5am-3:30pm OR 7am-5:30pm) / OT every other Saturday

Pay Rate

• $28-$35/hr

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, MI.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Brighton,MI.
