Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our preconstruction team in Caledonia, MI. This role is crucial in assisting with project planning, budgeting, and coordination during the early phases of construction projects. The position offers an opportunity for growth into a Project Manager role as you gain experience and skills.

Responsibilities
- Gather and organize bid documents.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain and update project schedules.
- Support the Preconstruction Manager with administrative and logistical tasks.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proficient in computer operation, particularly in Excel and Microsoft applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in commercial construction.
- Skills in project coordination, estimating, and project management.
- Familiarity with software such as Plaxis for construction estimation.
- Understanding of blueprints, RFIs, and change orders.
Work Environment

The standard work schedule is flexible, totaling eight hours a day.
