Job Description

We are looking for dedicated technicians to join our team. The role involves handling materials by removing tape from floors, cleaning, moving, and staging inventory. You will play a vital role in installing metal fences on the robotics floor to enhance safety procedures. This position requires the use of various tools such as drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, rulers, hammers, and torque wrenches. The job is labor-intensive, involving repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is loud and fast-paced.

Responsibilities

• Remove tape from floors and clean designated areas.
• Move and stage inventory as required.
• Install metal fences on robotics floor to improve safety.
• Use hand and power tools effectively for assembling metal frames and gating.
• Perform heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing tasks.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
• Maintain safety consciousness in all tasks.
• Collaborate effectively as a team player.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Mechanically inclined and skilled with tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience in installation, construction, carpentry, or industrial repair.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, electrical work, and schematics.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse that can be loud and chaotic. Shifts available are 1st from 4:30 am to 2:00 pm and 2nd from 2:30 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday, with some potential weekend work.

This is a Contract position based out of Caledonia, MI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
