š¼ Role Overview
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting Detroit residents through both phone-based and ināperson interactions.
You will:
- Handle 50ā100 inbound calls per day from customers seeking information on available properties
- Assist walkāin visitors face to face with applications, property details, and program information
- Provide guidance on navigating the website and online property portal
- Transfer calls to internal departments as needed (very minimal outbound calling)
- Support faithābased organizations and nonprofits seeking to join community partnership programs
- Learn and communicate program details clearly and professionally

- 1+ year of experience in a Call Center OR faceātoāface customer service role
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask in a fastāpaced environment
- Problemāsolving mindset
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused
