Description

TEKsystems is helping a client identify a mid-level, System Engineer to join their team. The System Administrator will be responsible for technical support and general system administration tasks for their clients.

Qualifications:

• Strong System Engineer skills with experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience in Network Administration including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewalls. This would be secondary to Systems Engineering skills.
• Technical Support experience in hardware, software, and remote support
• Effective Troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identify and prevent technical issues
• In-depth knowledge of Information Technology concepts and protocols
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA A+ are a plus
