Job Title: Systems Integration Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Engineer with a strong experience in edge computing hardware and software integration, particularly in avionics or similar domains. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking systems, NSA certification processes, and system requirements flow-down or system modeling. This role involves working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment supporting national security initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the integration of edge computing systems, including hardware and software components, into avionics or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability and performance.
- Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Apply system modeling techniques to support design decisions and validate system behavior.
- Support and guide NSA certification processes, including documentation, testing, and compliance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware, software, and network layers.
- Provide technical input during design reviews, risk assessments, and system validation efforts.
Essential Skills
- Experience in embedded and edge computing.
- Proficiency in system integration.
- Familiarity with SysML, Cameo, and MagicDraw.
- Understanding of DO-178C standards.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, with a focus on edge computing and embedded systems.
- Proven experience in avionics or similar high-reliability environments.
- Strong understanding of networking systems, protocols, and architectures.
- Familiarity with NSA certification processes and security compliance standards.
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system design.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD, DO-178C, or similar standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Compensation:$170000
