- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program.
- 1 - 5 years of professional experience in an architectural studio (internships included).
Job Description
This role is ideal for an emerging designer who is passionate about architecture, eager to learn, and interested in contributing to projects across multiple phases—from concept through construction. The Architectural Designer will work closely with Project Architects, supporting design development, documentation, and coordination while continuing to grow their technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with architectural design and project development from conceptual design through construction documents.
- Develop drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details using Revit.
- Support design research, material selection, and presentation preparation.
- Collaborate with internal project teams, consultants, and engineers.
- Participate in project meetings and, when appropriate, client interactions.
- Assist with building code research and review.
- Support construction administration tasks such as submittal review and RFIs.
- Contribute to maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency across project documentation.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.
