Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our E-Coat and Powder Coat lines, as well as the stamping press area when necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in maintaining various equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the E-Coat and Powder Coat lines, including the stamping press area when needed.
- Perform maintenance on motors, gears, pumps, filters, plumbing lines such as piping and couplers.
- Utilize electrical experience on PLCs and troubleshoot using a multimeter, including replacing fuses.
- Weld and fabricate guard stands and guards.
- Conduct facilities maintenance both inside the plant and outside.
- Exhibit mechanical and electrical proficiency in all tasks.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical experience with motors and pumps.
- Electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLCs and fuses.
- Facilities maintenance capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with hydraulics and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Technician-level expertise in maintenance tasks.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an extended shift until 11:30pm on Friday nights. The role offers a conducive work environment with a focus on closing the plant efficiently, and a shift premium is included. No weekend work is expected unless production calls for it.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.75 - $30.75/hr.
