Job Description

Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our rapidly growing team. . This role involves operating CNC machines, including Mills and potentially supporting a small Boring Mill, to produce parts for various automotive machines.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily assignments and execute each job efficiently.
• Work with a team to manage in-house materials and complete assigned tasks.
• Produce diverse parts for four different automotive machines, with each job varying in duration.
• Run and manage different machines, including five Mazak mills and a Femco boring mill.
• Operate machines primarily with mild steel, with some use of aluminum, copper, brass, and plastics.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in CNC machining on Mills.
• 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controllers.
• Experience with VISI programming is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
