Job Description
Join our Electrode Department as an Operator, where you will be an integral part of the Mixing Department. Enjoy a dynamic work schedule with day and night shifts available. The shifts operate on a rotating schedule of two days on, two days off, three days on, repeating, with alternating weekends. You will work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, ensuring a balanced work-life rhythm.
Responsibilities
- Mix powders by wearing a full mask respirator and carefully dumping them into bins, a process that takes 30 minutes to an hour.
- Carry 30-pound bags of powder up and down stairs 2-3 times daily while wearing a full respirator mask.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols by wearing appropriate PPE, including no jewelry, to prevent contact with slurry and chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in a potentially dirty process, utilizing wash stations for cleaning.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks such as carrying heavy bags of powder to pour into machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must be clean-shaven and able to wear a full face respirator mask and a protective suit.
- Must have at least 9 months of tenure at each previous job.
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience is required.
- Must not have been unemployed for more than 30 days.
- Comfortable with wearing PPE and working in the specified environment.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large facility where you will be required to walk extensively between buildings. The department is a meticulously clean room, demanding garb and beard net usage if applicable. The environment is temperature-controlled and brightly lit, emphasizing cleanliness and organization through the 5S3K methodology.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
