Job Description
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring successful on-time project completion while maintaining excellent relationships with customers. The role includes managing projects from kickoff through contract completion, defining goals, project tasks, and resource requirements. Additionally, the Project Manager coordinates and communicates with sales, estimating, and customers during design, budget, and quoting phases.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of construction projects.
- Manage projects from kickoff through contract completion.
- Define goals, project tasks, and resource requirements.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers.
- Coordinate pre-sale communication with sales and estimating teams.
- Collaborate with customers during design, budget, and quoting phases.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager working with customers.
- Ability to read and comprehend commercial blueprints.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Drafting or engineering qualifications preferred.
Work Environment
Work in the office from Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM, with a hybrid schedule offering one day of remote work per week. Minimal travel required, except for local site visits. The role involves exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and involves sitting most of the time, with brief periods of walking or standing.
