Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

This Construction Superintendent will lead onsite operations for all installers and field employees on assigned projects. The role involves overseeing projects from planning to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing contractors. The Superintendent will manage multiple carpenters across various job sites and may engage in hands-on work as needed. They will ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards to maintain a secure construction site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage onsite operations for assigned construction projects.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Manage multiple carpenters across different job sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Engage in hands-on work, including carpentry, as needed.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in commercial carpentry.
• 3+ years of experience in reading blueprints and construction documents.
• 3+ years of experience in managing contractors or field staff.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, construction documents, and carpentry.
• Experience in commercial construction, steel stud framing, and drywall.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with construction supervision and ground-up projects.
• Knowledge of retail and mixed-use construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience in metal framing.

Work Environment

The role specializes in commercial building projects, including hospitals, hotels, schools, restaurants, and large buildings. Work will be conducted 40-50 hours per week, offering year-round security without layoffs.
