Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will contribute to the production of large air conditioning units in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role involves working in one of our three plants, where you will be trained to work at one of the assembly stations as needed. You will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on quality and precision in every unit assembled.
Responsibilities
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks at a designated station.
- Participate in the assembly of large AC units for commercial buildings.
- Adapt to changing work assignments based on customer needs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
- Engage in brazing, soldering, and operating machinery once trained.
- Conduct quality checks and tests on assembled units.
- Report any malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor.
- Understand and work from blueprints.
- Get physically involved in assembly tasks, including entering units for proper assembly.
- At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Physical ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to climb into units as part of assembly tasks.
- A good attitude and willingness to learn.
- 1 year of assembly experience is preferred.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Electrical experience is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and being mechanically inclined.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled, clean, and organized environment. Each station is equipped with the necessary tools for assembly, and you will have the support of team members and a lead tech for guidance. The facility is new, with ongoing enhancements to improve assembly and testing stations, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kentwood, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
