As an Assembler, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our state-of-the-art facilities, specifically in Plants 2, 3, or 4. These plants are dedicated to assembling large HVAC units, with Plant 3 established in June 2023 and Plant 4 set to open soon. You will be part of a team that builds large AC units for commercial buildings such as hospitals, apartment complexes, and more.
Responsibilities- Perform repetitive assembly work at designated stations, rotating as needed based on customer demands.
- Assemble various components of large AC units using hand tools and power tools.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in initial safety training.
- Engage in brazing, soldering, machine operations, quality checks, and tests once fully trained.
- Report any malfunctions or defects to the production supervisor.
- Understand and follow blueprints for assembling components.
- Physically enter units as needed to assemble internal components.
- Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience.
- Ability to physically bend, twist, and lift up to 40 lbs repetitively.
- Willingness to climb into large units for assembly (non-confined space).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- 1 year of assembly experience is preferred.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Electrical experience and mechanical aptitude are advantageous.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a temperature-controlled and very clean environment. Each station is well-organized with all necessary tools for assembly. You will join a supportive team and have the opportunity to learn from a lead technician during your initial weeks. Although the building is new, efforts are underway to further develop testing stations for our units.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kentwood, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
