Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Onsite IT Support Technician to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be supporting our Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration project, including reimaging and deploying Dell desktop and laptop devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with imaging tools, SCCM (MECM), and IT asset management, along with a strong customer service mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Windows 11 deployment project, including reinstallation and configuration of end-user devices.
  • Reimage and configure Dell desktops and laptops using standard imaging tools and procedures.
  • Utilize SCCM (MECM) for software deployment, updates, and device management (preferred).
  • Create and manage service tickets related to device upgrades, replacements, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and alignment of reimaged devices with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Collaborate with onsite technicians to manage and track IT inventory and hardware assets.
  • Provide occasional onsite technical support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 operating systems and desktop support.
  • Experience with device imaging and deployment, preferably in a Dell hardware environment.
  • Familiarity with SCCM (MECM) or similar endpoint management tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network environments.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Ability to manage and support remote users via remote control tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, printers, and mobile device management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service ticketing systems.
  • Experience participating in or leading IT projects and test plans.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific IT environments, such as manufacturing or paper production, is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
