Job Title: Architectural Designer
Job Description
We are seeking an innovative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design process, working on diverse projects ranging from commercial and hospitality to multifamily and mixed-use developments. You will collaborate with senior designers, principals, and clients to transform ideas into buildable and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Initially, you will support our multifamily and commercial department, with opportunities to work on franchise projects as well.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to develop impactful commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
- Create design concepts using hand sketches, Revit, Lumion, and SketchUp.
- Produce high-quality graphics, diagrams, and renderings for presentations and city entitlements.
- Prepare and present design documents for client and municipal review.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal team members throughout the design process.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and internal quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture.
- Minimum of 1 year of architectural design experience post-graduation.
- Proficiency in Revit and 3D rendering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SketchUp and Lumion is a plus.
- Experience working on multi-family projects.
- Strong graphic design and visual storytelling abilities.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Royal Oak, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
