We have six current openings for 1st and 3rd shift maintenance technicians. The 1st shift operates from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a rotating weekend schedule every third weekend, allowing a weekday off if working on a Saturday. The 3rd shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 4 days on and 4 days off schedule, with a $1.50 shift premium. Training for 3rd shifters may occur during daytime hours. As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on equipment such as roll converters, extrusion lines, automated assembly lines, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Maintain facility and associated equipment.
- Work with maintenance vendors.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
- Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
- Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
- 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
- Experience with Industrial Controls.
- Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operating machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
- Excellent safety and attendance record.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
- High attention to detail and exceptionally organized.
- Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
- Minimum 3-5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic repair experience.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Strong electrical skills are preferred.

Work EnvironmentThis position is in a manufacturing setting, specifically extrusion. The 2nd and 3rd shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule. The 1st shift operates from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday, with the possibility of working every third weekend, which may adjust the weekday schedule. Safety is a top priority in this environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
