Job Title: Millwright

Job Description

As a Millwright, you will perform service work around the facility, focusing on mechanical repairs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, then executing the necessary repairs. The role requires working on rooftops and within the facility, climbing ladders, and using lifts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical repairs and service work throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues effectively.
  • Make necessary repairs based on diagnosis.
  • Work on rooftops and within the facility, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Climb ladders and use lifts as required for maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in service work and mechanical repairs.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance.
  • Skilled in installation and facility maintenance.
  • Commercial or industrial millwright service experience.
  • State Certified Journeyman card or 8 years of verifiable experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in boilermaker and iron worker roles.
  • Ability to diagnose leaks and pressure problems and make appropriate repairs.
  • Experience in installing new parts.

Work Environment

Work is conducted onsite at an industrial facility within the GM Tech center. This role involves hands-on, active work in a dynamic environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80080.00 - $80080.00/yr.
