Dealer / Web Chat Support Agent
Location: Warren, MI (Onsite Training) + Work‑From‑Home
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8‑hour shifts between 7 AM – Midnight (Fixed for 13‑week periods)
About the Role
We are seeking skilled Dealer / Web Chat Support Agents to provide real‑time online assistance to customers during their vehicle shopping process. Instead of visiting a dealership and feeling pressured, customers can chat with you—an informed, friendly support agent—who guides them through questions about vehicles, features, pricing, incentives, and dealership information.
This position focuses on pre‑sale support, not general customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers online as they research and shop for new or used vehicles.
- Answer inquiries about products, features, trims, benefits, incentives, and promotions.
- Provide proactive support with dealership questions, vehicle locates, and product concerns.
- Identify sales opportunities by delivering clear, accurate, and enthusiastic responses.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and act as a customer-first representative at all times.
- Support general service appointment questions (no service troubleshooting or post-sale support).
- Participate in pilot programs and evolving technology platforms with precision and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong written communication skills — excellent grammar, clarity, and tone are essential
- 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience, ideally with brands known for a strong service culture (e.g., Nordstrom, Apple, Zappos, Chewy)
- Strong attention to detail, high level of professionalism, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong ability to translate complex thoughts into concise, high‑quality writing
- Positive, self‑motivated attitude with strong interpersonal skills
Work Environment
- Training is onsite in Warren, MI
- After training: Work‑From‑Home indefinitely
- Required onsite schedule during training: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Agents will receive chats from customers nationwide and see which dealership initiated the interaction
Schedule & Pay Details
- Operation runs 24/7, with active schedules between 7 AM and Midnight
- Flexibility required to work any shift within this window
- Shifts remain the same for 13 weeks at a time

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
