Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will work with CNC Mills or Lathes, performing tasks based on your skill level. If you are at the setup level, you will be responsible for setting up and operating mills/lathes such as Doosan. If you are an operator, you will focus on operating machines that conduct machining operations like turning, boring, facing, and threading parts including castings, forgings, and bar stock.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills or Lathes based on skill level.
• Operate machines to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading.
• Load, unload, and change out tools.
• Learn and develop skills for performing setups long term.
• Utilize inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Proficiency in machining operations.
• Ability to use inspection tools like micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good soft skills.
• Familiarity with machining processes and equipment such as Fanuc, Haas.
• Experience with machine shop environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
