This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to get into manufacturing and learn valuable, hands‑on skills. As a Polisher and Buffer, you’ll start on the ground level in the grinding department and receive on-the-job training while working with experienced team members. If you’re dependable, motivated, and eager to learn, this role offers a strong path for growth.
What You’ll Do
- Learn to use hand grinders to smooth and polish metal parts to a quality finish
- Cross-train in basic fabrication skills, including:
- Cutting metal to length using a tape measure
- Operating brake presses
- Spot welding
- Buffing and preparing parts for paint
- Assist other departments as needed, including assembly, painting, and packaging
- Gain exposure to different areas of manufacturing to build a well‑rounded skillset
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude (from work experience, school, or hands‑on hobbies)
- Basic comfort using hand and power tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Prior sheet metal or grinding experience is helpful, but not required
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
- 6+ months of manufacturing or shop experience
- Shop class (welding, automotive, woodworking, or machine/tool experience)

This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
